Saving lives deserves a first-rate reward. allows eligible paid or volunteer Firefighters, Police — including Police Officers, Sheriffs and Sheriff’s Deputies, Correctional Officers, State Troopers and Federal Law Enforcement Officers — EMTs/Paramedics and 911 Dispatchers to purchase or lease eligible, new Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles at special discount. The discount can also be combined with most current offers for an even better deal.

Which vehicles are eligible for the GM First Responder Discount?
Eligible GMC vehicles include top trucks and SUVs such as the Sierra and Sierra EV, Canyon, Acadia, Terrain, and Yukon models. Select HUMMER EV SUV and SUT models may also qualify. Both new and certified pre-owned GMC vehicles are included in the program, giving first responders access to a wide range of current options.

First Responders will create an account and receive an authorization code that can be given to a participating dealer for the discounted pricing. Under the program they can purchase (2) vehicles per calendar year.

Who is eligible for the GM First Responder Appreciation offer?
Eligible participants include paid or volunteer Firefighters; Police (Police Officers, Sheriffs/Sheriff’s Deputies, Correctional Officers, State Troopers and Federal Law Enforcement Officers); EMTs/Paramedics; and 911 Dispatchers.
Can my spouse use the offer?
Yes. Eligible First Responders may sponsor their spouse for the offer at participating dealers.
How many vehicles can I purchase or lease each year?
Participants may receive up to two authorization numbers per calendar year. Each authorization is valid for 90 days and can be used on one eligible vehicle purchase or lease.
Which vehicles are eligible?
Eligibility applies to select new and unused Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. Availability can change and some models may be limited. Check the current eligible vehicle list and confirm dealer participation.
Can I combine this with other offers?
In most cases, yes — the First Responder offer can be combined with many current retail offers. Final eligibility and stacking rules are determined at the time of purchase.
How do I verify my eligibility and get an authorization number?
Verify your status through ID.me to generate your authorization number. Then bring the authorization number to a participating dealer.
What documents do I need at the dealership?
Bring your authorization number and a copy of your driver’s license (license number redacted). Your date of birth and ZIP code must match the information used to obtain the authorization.
Are there any usage or retention rules?
Vehicles must be for personal, non-commercial use and retained for at least six months from delivery (unless otherwise specified by GM).
